Dear scientists,

I am very happy and honored to announce the 6th International and 35th National Biophysics Congress to be held in Kayseri, Turkey's cultural heritage city, one of the oldest cities in the world.

Our congress will be held as a joint congress of Erciyes University and Turkish Biophysics Association at Sabancı Conference Hall between 4-7 September 2024. The concept of our congress is "Current Developments in the Field of Biophysics and the Future of Biophysics". In this congress, we will discuss current developments in the field of biophysics and the future role of biophysics. I believe that the most important role of academic activities is to follow current issues in the field of science and contribute to future developments. I think biophysics is a discipline that brings powerful perspectives and techniques to current developments in health sciences. Our congress will bring together both biophysicists and researchers from various fields from all over the world. We aim to make our congress a place where current and future issues can be discussed and bring new perspectives and technologies to biophysics.

For this purpose, we invite 2015 Nobel Prize-winning scientists and distinguished researchers who have achieved extraordinary achievements, bringing innovative perspectives and technologies from biophysics and related fields, to our congress as keynote speakers.

In addition, leading international and national scientists in their fields will take part as invited speakers in more than 20 sessions, conferences and panels. Each session will also include oral and poster presentations by selected young researchers.

Another prominent feature of this congress is the applied training program for young researchers in biophysics research. The courses will be held as five applied courses at Erciyes University Department of Biophysics and Experimental Research Application and Research Center (DEKAM) between 2-4 September 2024. A trainee can attend a maximum of two courses. Leaflets about the courses will be given to the participants. The course fee includes lunch for trainees.

We are planning various social events at our congress. We start with the "Kayseri Culture Road" and continue with the Kültepe (Kaniş Karum) Ruins, Koramaz Valley, Ağırnas, Soğanlı and Cappadocia, which are on the UNESCO heritage list.

We look forward to your participation in this congress, which we organize to promote a free, open discussion and exchange of ideas between participants from different countries, cities and generations. We will announce the details on our website.
